DAY 1

Welcome to Sri Lanka

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to your hotel in Negombo – a fishing town just under 30 minutes’ drive from the Airport. Enjoy the comforts of your hotel and the surroundings to overcome the jetlag after a long flight.

DAY 2

Elephant Orphanage – Sigiriya

After breakfast, leave for Dambulla/Sigiriya to experience Sri Lanka’s inland delights.

On your way, you’ll stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to get your first introduction to Sri Lanka’s most celebrated inhabitants. This orphanage was set up to feed, nurse and house young elephants lost or abandoned.

On arrival at Sigiriya check in at your hide way integrated wonderfully with the surrounding environment. As part of your honeymoon package you and your partner will be treated with:

Bed décor with natural flowers, a tropical fruit basket, a half an hour Spa treatment (01 treatment for each person), Photo locations at the hotel etc apart from a candlelit dinner at the garden or at the pool deck. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

DAY 3

Romantic Hot Air Balloon Ride & Safari at Minneriya

Begin your day with a romantic hot air balloon ride over Sigiriya, floating above lush green landscapes with the iconic rock fortress in the background—a perfect way to experience the true magic over Sri Lanka in a Hot Air Balloon. The best season for ballooning is from November to May, offering clear skies and light winds.

Alternatively, explore the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former capital of Sri Lanka, or embark on a Minneriya National Park safari to witness elephants in the wild. In the evening, unwind with a boat ride on Kandalama Lake, catching a stunning sunset.

End the day with a candlelit dinner under the stars. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

DAY 4

Escape to Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Make a vow at Temple of the Tooth

Start your day with an early visit to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site that rises 200 meters into the sky. Explore the ancient royal palace atop this iconic rock before heading to Kandy, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Pay your respects at the golden-roofed temple, where couples often make vows for a happy future. 

Retreat to the peaceful hills, where you’ll stay in a charming, converted planter’s bungalow offering splendid views. As part of your honeymoon package, indulge in special treats like romantic bed décor with fresh flowers, a tropical fruit basket, a relaxing spa treatment for both of you, and a candlelit dinner in a dreamy garden or by the pool.

DAY 5

Lazy day & Picnic at the Garden

Spend a lazy day at the hotel or after a hot cup of Tea and breakfast enjoy the surrounding or discover the craft behind our world-famous Ceylon Tea. If you would like, during the day take a guided stroll through the lush Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya for an introduction to tropical flora. Perhaps you can have a picnic lunch at the gardens!

In the evening enjoy a candlelit dinner.

DAY 6

Scenic Train Ride to Ella

After breakfast move into Kandy Railway station for a scenic train ride to Ella through some of the most beautiful highland countryside areas in Sri Lanka. This is considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Watch the brilliant green carpets of the tea plantations. See the picturesque villages with misty mountain backdrops, magnificent waterfalls as they go by your windows.  Peer through drizzle and mist to look at the magical landscapes of Hill Country.

DAY 7

Nine Arches Bridge & visit to the Wild

In the morning after breakfast checkout and explore Ella to captures few moments to complete your album. This is perhaps the most iconic structure in Ella and the most instagrammed one! 

The Nine Arches Bridge, fondly referred to as the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge that was constructed in 1921 and is the perfect example of colonial infrastructure in Sri Lanka. One of the most favourite experiences for travellers at the bridge, is waiting for the iconic train to trudge past! (The trains pass along the bridge at 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 15:30 am, 16:30 and 17:30)

After lunch move to Deep South Tissamaharama/Yala.

DAY 8

Safari at Yala & Catch a Wave in Mirissa

Early morning visits the Yala National Park the most celebrated wildlife park in Sri Lanka.

This is the best place in the world to spot leopards. With a leopard density of one leopard per square kilometer, this park is the ideal location in which to film and photograph these regal wildcats. Apart from the leopards, there are the highest number of elephants living in the park, spotted deer, sambar, wild board, wild buffaloes, Sloth bear, jackal and mongoose can also be seen.

After the excursion set back to hotel for a late breakfast. Check out and drive to your South Coast Escape. Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa is a serene hideaway in a corner of the southern Sri Lankan coastal belt the epitome of exclusivity and a perfect hideaway for honeymooners.

DAY 9

Whale Watching & Surfing Thrills in Mirissa

Sri Lanka’s combination of stunning biodiversity and scenic beauty makes it an extraordinary destination. The fact that it hosts both the world’s largest land and sea mammals—elephants and whales—on a small island is remarkable.

Start your day early with a whale watching expedition. Arrive at Mirissa Harbour by 6:30 a.m. for this unforgettable experience (season runs from November to April).

As you embark on your boat cruise, keep an eye out for playful pods of dolphins, including Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, and striped dolphins, as they leap and dance across the waves.

In the deeper waters, you may encounter majestic blue whales traveling in groups, as well as solitary sperm whales. So, if you’re lucky you will see more than one whale! Killer whales, also known as Orcas, occasionally visit Mirissas’ warm waters and seeing them is quite magical.

After your thrilling marine adventure, return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the beach at your leisure.

Enjoy other famous attractions—surfing. Mirissa, known for its surf-friendly waves, offers great conditions from October to March, making it a fantastic spot for surfers of all levels.

DAY 10

Journey Through Time - Galle Dutch Fort & Colombo

After breakfast, it’s time to head to the bustling city of Colombo, Sri Lanka’s business capital. On the way, stop by the historic Dutch Fortress in Galle, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site and a magnificent example of colonial architecture.

Upon arrival in Colombo, take your time to check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, venture out to discover the vibrant attractions and local flavors of the city.

DAY 11

Departure Sri Lanka

After breakfast relax and enjoy the comforts of the hotel.

Your guide will meet you on time at the lobby to drive you to the Colombo International Airport for your departing flight home. Take back with you 11 days of unforgettable memories and loads of pictures to remember your honeymoon in Sri Lanka.
